Instead of a big,terrifying creature as the tale often describes, Migo is a bright young Yeti who fears humans. “It’s a terrifying creature with perfect white teeth and breath that just smells all minty fresh,” he explains to little Yetis. “And the only hair it has on its entire body is on the top of its head!”
According to the official description of the movie, “Smallfoot” turns the Bigfoot legend upside down when a bright young Yeti finds something he thought didn’t exist, a human. News of this “Smallfoot” throws the simple Yeti community into an uproar over what else might be out there in the big world beyond their snowy village, in an all new story about friendship, courage and the joy of discovery.
In some new pictures obtained by , Migo appears to find more evidence of humans’ existence. His journey brings him closer to the human community as he arrives in front of a bar. He also finds a shoe, which is much smaller than his foot.
“There’s a certain style and tone in ‘Smallfoot’ that is reminiscent of old-school Looney Tunes, which I was completely in love with as a kid,” Tatum says of the film. “It’s kinda how me and my daughter play. She loves physical comedy, like when I fall over something and act like I hurt myself. She’s a sucker for a good pratfall.”
He also talks about how his four-year-old daughter Everly would react to the movie. “I’d be lying if I didn’t say I’m super excited for my daughter to see something that I’m in,” the hunky actor says. “Even though I’m never gonna tell her it’s me so she’ll like it. Let’s just say she’s a tough critic.”
